Now, when I say stranger I do mean a HUM employee. I told her all of my concerns and then let her decide what she thought was the best fit.
My concerns:
- I am constantly exhausted. Like falling asleep at work exhausted. A couple days a week, I will come home and fall asleep by 6 because I just can’t keep my eyes open any longer. I would love to be able to have more energy & not feel so drained all the time.
- I have struggled with acne for the last few years. If I can find something to give me clear, even, plump, radiant skin, I’m down!
- I want to be able to grow my nails out without them breaking from being so weak. I would also love to be able to grow out my hair and keep it healthy.
After talking about my concerns, she recommended:
I absolutely adore long nails. My mom has had beautiful, one nails for as long as I can remember. And every time I try to grow out my nails, I end up with maybe two long nails and the rest of them end up breaking somewhere along the way. So when the HUM representative recommended Killer Nails, I must say, I was excited. I envisioned these pills that would immediately make my nails grow into what I like to call goddess nails; long, strong, beautiful nails. Now, obviously that didn’t happen. But after taking Killer Nails for a month straight, I can safely say that my nails have actually made it to a really great length without breaking off. I did have one nail break off last week, but I smacked my hand into a counter on accident so we can blame that one on me. My nails look stronger & healthier than I’ve ever seen them.
If there is only one of these pills that I can recommend, it would without-a-doubt be the OMG! Omega The Great. I’ve spent the last three years fighting with my acne. One month ago, I had 10+ active pimples along my chin & jawline. Today, I have one. ONE PEOPLE! I haven’t had skin this clear in years. If you suffer from acne, especially adult acne, I highly recommend trying these out.
I must admit, I don’t really know what Collagen Love did. To be fair, I think on younger skin, it can be really difficult to show that your skins elasticity and firmness has improved. I do think as a preventative measure, collagen is a great thing to take when you’re younger, although I don’t think you’re necessarily going to notice a difference. It’s more you begin to notice as you start aging slower than those around you, which I’m obviously down for!
Now, one of my top concerns is my exhaustion. I’m so tired all the time. I’m not even really doing anything incredibly tiring. So when I was told that HUM was sending my their Uber Energy, you best believe I was beyond excited to give them a try. So did they cure my exhaustion? Kind of. I still get tired. I think that is kind of inevitable. But I’m not tired nearly as often. I don’t come home from work and immediately pass out anymore. I’m not so tired at work that I’m falling asleep at my desk. I’m not bouncing off the walls with energy throughout the day, but I now have enough energy to make it through the day like a regular person. I can get up, get through work, come home, make dinner for me and Austin and spend some time together before I actually start getting tired. Overall, I plan to continue taking these as I have noticed a marked improvement in my energy level. They’re not a cure. But damned if they’re not helpful.
Something I didn’t specifically request was shinier hair. It’s something I’m pretty sure everyone wants, but it completely slipped my mind when I was talking with HUM. I think that overall, my hair is fairly healthy. I do dye it, but I try to do a hair mask once a week, I almost never use hot tools on it anymore, and I use hair oils like their going out of style. So when I was sent Red Carpet, I wasn’t really sure what they would be able to do for my hair. I mean, I already liked my hair. It turns out, my hair wasn’t even remotely as shiny as I thought, because after a month of taking Red Carpet, my hair has never looked healthier. It literally glistens in the sun.
Overall, there’s not one supplement that I wouldn’t recommend trying out for yourself. But if I had to choose my favorites, it would definitely be OMG! Omega The Great and Uber Energy.
Have you tried any HUM supplements?
